A collaboration between Kozah Art Gallery and Urbanist Art Gallery
A bronze artwork that geometrically summarizes the old city with its gates, alleys, trees, and the close relationship with its inhabitants and people. It brings together the random alleys in a geometric square to signify the common connection between humans and the old city of Damascus.

Issa Kozah (born and based in Damascus) is a Syrian sculptor and visual artist whose practice bridges traditional craftsmanship and contemporary sensibility. He established his own gallery in the Old City of Damascus in 1994, cementing his commitment to nurturing contemporary Syrian art and providing a platform for artists in multiple media.
Kozah has participated in numerous group exhibitions alongside major Syrian artists, and his sculptural works often explore identity, materiality, and memory. His involvement in exhibitions such as Lights Through The Wounds, which reflect on Syria’s recent struggles, underscores his role among artists who document and respond to the country’s ongoing transformations.
