تنتمي هذه اللوحة الى "سلسلة عالم للرجال"
رجال يتشابهون في وضعياتهم، يرتدون الزي الرسمي ونظارات سوداء تخفي ملامحهم. ربما هم زعماء ديكتاتوريين، قادة مافيا، أو قتلة مأجورين.وربما يكونوا رجال عاديين. تتشابك الخطوط التي ترسم أجسادهم فتكاد تذيب حضورهم داخل فضاء عدمي. ورغم ما يوحي به المشهد من سلطة "بطريركية" طاغية، فإنهم يظهرون محبوسين داخل إطار اللوحة المغلق، في إشارة ساخرة إلى هشاشة السلطة المطلقة للرجل.

Meet Our Artist
محمد عمران (دمشق، 1979) فنان تشكيلي وباحث، تخرّج في قسم النحت بكلية الفنون الجميلة بدمشق عام2000، وحصل على ماجستير في تاريخ الفن المعاصر من جامعة ليون الثانية بفرنسا عام 2009. تنقّل بينالتدريس والممارسة الفنية والبحث النقدي، وشارك في معارض عربية وأوروبية. وتُقتنى أعماله ضمن مجموعاتعامة وخاصة، منها المتحف البريطاني في لندن ومتحف معهد العالم العربي في باريس.
